Paper Sculpture + Watercolour
Nicola is a Paper Artist, Designer and Maker, specialising in events, design and film.
Nicola boasts a vast commercial catalogue, from 18ft installations at the Royal Opera House, to tiny Alpine dioramas for Swiss Air Aviation, to hand illustrated dioramas for an upcoming film set in founding-era Philadelphia.
She has exhibited and taught in Venice at the Homo Fabre exhibition, represents UK paper sculpting at the Michelangelo Foundation & is a member of the Paper Artist Collective.
When not working commercially she indulges in the natural world and creating miniature stories in cloches as well as her favourite thing of all, life drawing, in both paper and watercolour.
Nicola experiences life through art and encouraging others to enjoy the benefits of making, through hosting workshops, is a pursuit she holds dear. Nicolas aim, through her art, is to provide the viewer a moment of curiosity, to pause and learn, or experience a story or environment on a unique level.
